The Grandma of Porn
Kitty Fox was born on February 26, 1942, in a small rural town in southern Illinois. She went to school there and graduated from high school in 1960. After attending college she met her present and only husband in 1964. They have been married for 40 years. She has one daughter and two granddaughters. They moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, in 1978 and she worked as a beautician until 1983, at which time she became a topless showgirl in a show on the Las Vegas Strip. In 1989 she appeared in a nude photo layout in a men's magazine. She was asked if she would be interested in being in a porno movie the following year and she jumped at the chance, and debuted in "Nympho Heaven". She loved having sex in the movies so much that she quickly decided to be a porno actress for as long as men would desire to have her. Kitty and her husband have been "swingers" for 39 years and she figured that she must have had sex with more than 15,000 men during that time. She is a publisher of "Over 50" Magazine and appears in the magazine in every issue. She also makes about 20 movies a year and has starred in more than 300 adult films. Kitty Fox is one of the most famous mature adult film stars of all time.
Kitty Foxx gives new meaning to the term "older and bolder." She's a lusty dirty blonde in her 50's who got into porn in the early 90's and found herself wild about on-screen sex. She looks like the dowdy widow next door or the local teacher's union rep, but when the clothes come off and the action heats up, Kitty proves herself to be as hot as any starlet half her age.
Kitty's first hardcore appearance was in 1992's "Big Murray's New-Cummers 2: Las Vegas Swingers," where Kitty strutted her swinging stuff for the benefit of a very appreciative audience. From there, Kitty went on to star in a series of sexy flicks that have usually found her at the bottom of a pile of much younger male flesh. She loves oral sex and black men, and most every film she's in can be counted on for some interracial cavorting from this lusty older lady. Kitty's Christmas bonus gang bang in "Kitty Foxx's Kinky Kapers #02" and her group grope in "Kitty's Kinky Capers" (yes, those are two different films) show her at her absolute nastiest. Or for a taste of Kitty in a slightly more subdued role, check out her wild salt-n-pepper three-some in "Kapers #2."
Kitty has proven to be one of the top older women ever to appear in porn, and her insatiable lust for wild sexing seems to be in no danger of flagging at any time soon. Fans of older women or just plain old sexual heat will want to check out this wanton woman with the nasty glint in her dark eyes.
The Grandmom of Porn
Warning: The following content may be too graphic for the pussies out there
Kitty Foxx, the Grandmom of Porn, shared some of her insight on being not just a porn star, but a 59-year old porn star who in her lifetime has slept with over 10,000 men, according to her web site. Her gentle voice with a hint of a Mid-Western accent doesn?t seem like it would come from a woman who has starred in over 100 adult films. She and her husband of 37 years now live in Las Vegas, making a living off her movies, magazines and web sites. They were married after knowing each other for 18 days, originally meeting at a bar in her hometown. Before moving to Vegas, she worked as a hairdresser and he as a sub-contractor for NASA.
Generation: When you first became a showgirl in Vegas, what was the change like for you?
Kitty Foxx: Well, it was exciting and a little scary. A girlfriend of mine who was a showgirl introduced me to that. She had to go on vacation and said, ?Somebody?s got to fill in for me, so let me show you the routine, and you can step in for me while I?m gone.? She said, ?Why don?t you do it?? I was like, ?Noooo, me??? She said, ?Yeah, it?s easy.? So one evening she showed it to me, and it was pretty simple, and I did it. One of the bars that my husband bought was a topless bar, so it was pretty easy to do there after being on stage at the hotel. Yeah, I try anything once. If I don?t like it, I don?t do it again. That?s my theory.
G: How did your husband react at that point?
KF: He said, ?Oh yeah, go for it!? He?s really adventuresome, and we like to try new things all the time, so he thought it was great!
G: When you were approached to do your first nude photo layout, how did you react to that? How was the adjustment into that kind of work?
KF: Well, that was a little scary, too. I didn?t know how to pose, so I was asking the photographer what to do. He was very patient, and he told me every pose, and I did it. But he was such a nice guy, and my husband was there, so that was reassuring. After I found out what a nice guy Lance (the photographer) was, then it just didn?t take long to be at ease. But my husband and I had been swingers, and we had the topless bar, so nudity didn?t bother me at all, and other people around while I?m nude didn?t bother me, so I just went with the flow. And you know, things just started progressing, and I just thought it was fun!
G: How was the adjustment into the first movie? Was it a lot different than the first photo shoot?
KF: Oh yeah, it?s a lot different. (laughs) Yeah, really I had no aspirations of ever being a porn star or a model or anything, like I said I just went with the flow. We were at a swingers convention, this was after I?d been appearing in Over 40 magazine, and a movie producer was there and asked me if I ever wanted to be in a porn movie. I said , ?Sure, what?s the pay? What do I do?? (Laughs) My husband and I have been swingers, and we started in that lifestyle back in the 70?s, when you went to a party and jumped in a pile. And so I thought, ?Yeah, sure. Why not?? And there, again, he could be there in the background.
I was nervous, because that was before the industry got so strict on the HIV test, so I was pretty leery. I wanted to know where these guys came from, who they were, make sure they were disease-free, and if we could use condoms. The majority of them were college students, so they just did that for fun to make a little extra money, and they were all nice guys, you know, no problems. It was a gang-bang movie, and everything worked out fine. The whole theme of that movie was that it was a class reunion and I was their teacher, so I was invited to this reunion, then I graded all the guys. (laughs) So that was fun, and it just progressed from there. Another producer would call me and say ?Hey, we have this movie we?re doing. Would you like to be in it?? And so on and so forth.
About that time they started requiring the HIV test, which I thought was fantastic, and now they?ve gone even farther and require the DNA HIV test every 28 days. You get to know the talent that?s in the industry, and they have to show their papers at the beginning of each scene so everybody can see they?re up-to-date with the testing. There?s a few things you tell the producer you?ll do and you won?t do, and of course the list of don?t do?s is shorter than the ones that you do.
So anyway, I don?t know what my appeal is to the general public, I guess my videos must have sold well. I have a big fan club, I know that. (Laughs) So that?s how I got started. I didn?t really set out to do that, but it all kinda fell into place, and here I am.
G: Your daughter does not plan to become involved in the porn industry, but if she or anyone close to you came to you and said, ?I?m thinking about getting into this,? would you recommend it to them? How would you feel about that?
KF: First of all, you have to be a mature person. I don?t recommend it for any young girl. I just don?t think that young girls are emotionally mature enough to handle that. I was 48 when I got started. I couldn?t have done it when I was 28. I wouldn?t have been emotionally mature enough, and I don?t think any girl could be at that age. You don?t know what?s going to come up in your lifetime. This could come back to haunt you. Porn is more acceptable socially today than it was 20 years ago, but there?s still a lot of people that would say, ?Oh my God, you do porn? Ahhh, geeze, really weirdo!?
My child was grown and married before I ever got in to this. She didn?t know it for a long time. She did find out, but it was not a really big deal to her. She didn?t freak out and say, ?Mom, how could you?? She said, ?That doesn?t affect my life. You?re still grandma, you?re my mom, and that won?t ever change.? I don?t talk to her about it, she doesn?t ask me questions about it, and she never sees anything pornographic at my house, none of the children do. Our family life is totally separate from our professional life.
No, I wouldn?t recommend it to any young girl, but anyone who?s married, and their husband thinks it?d be a great idea, and he?d go along with it, I?d say, ?Yeah,? to anybody. I?d hate to think that a young girl did that then did a switch, got out, and tried to hide that for the rest of her life, from family, friends, and everybody. That would put a lot of pressure on her, too. You have to be pretty mature emotionally and know what you want to do with your life before you get into the adult entertainment business. Not so much dancing?that?s really acceptable, too. As far a porn goes, you gotta think about it long and hard. (Laughs) It?s not for everybody, and just to get into it to make a quick buck, that?s not good either.
G: Do you watch any porn?
KF: No, no. In fact, someone asked us that the other day. We said, ?Are you kidding? We make porn; we?re not watching it!? I don?t want to watch myself after I?ve done it (laughs). I know what I did! I don?t have to look at myself! We did, years ago?every young married couple does. You watch ten minutes, and then it?s all over. One movie will last you forever. So no, we don?t watch much porn now.
G: You specialize in gang-banging, but what other themes have you acted out in your movies?
KF: Well, probably the latest thing would be cream pies. That?s inside cum-shots. In other words, the guy doesn?t pull out and come on the face or on the titties or whatever, he ejaculates inside the female and the camera is still there while it runs out. Young girls won?t do that, of course. That?d be a little dangerous for them, considering they can get pregnant, where the older gals can do that and don?t have to worry about it.
G: On your website you ask for a lot of input from your fans. What kind of messages do you usually get?
KF: There?s a wide range. Some of it can be very graphic, nasty, downright outrageous and bizarre, to a very nice, sweet letter. There?s a wide range, kind of depending, I think, on their education and their class, that?s kinda how I take it. You know, I get letters through the mail and you can just look at the envelope to see who?s educated, higher up on the totem pole, so to speak. You get some that don?t know how to address an envelope, and they can?t spell, so you don?t even know what they?re saying. Ninety-nine percent of them are complimentary in their own way, some are just a little more crude than others. You just glance over those and throw them in the trash or delete them. Sometimes I?ll e-mail them back to say thanks for the compliment or thanks for being a fan. I get so many e-mails that I can?t sit and write long letters to people; it?s totally out of the question. I try to say something nice back to them, but it?s not a long letter.
G: Have you ever had a problem with stalkers?
KF: Not really, and I think that?s mainly because I don?t hide the fact that I?m married. Most all my fans know that I have a husband, so I don?t get bothered. There?s some single gals that have had some stalkers, but that?s because they know they?re single. I hardly ever go out without my husband.
G: Is there anything else the average college student reading this paper should know about the adult entertainment industry?
KF: Well, no, not really, except that we think we?re normal, and I?m sure straight people wouldn?t think that. But, if you would meet us someplace, you wouldn?t know we?re in the business. We can fit in any situation. We have our family life that?s just like anybody else?s, and then we have the adult business, and that?s totally separate. That?s the way it is for most people in the adult entertainment business. There are some really well known gals in the industry that are married, and their husbands support them in that career, and they have children. When they?re at home, they?re like any other mom and dad. They go to ballgames, they take their little girls to dance class, and you just wouldn?t really wouldn?t know on a day-to-day basis who?s who.
I will say this: There are probably more girls in the business that were introduced to sex at an early age when they shouldn?t have been. Just because a girl is in porn doesn?t mean she was sexually abused as a child, but there are a lot that were, or neglected. Not in the older group, because most of us are married and have families and didn?t start until we were in our 40?s, and most of us were swingers.
In fact, when I got in the business, that was when the older woman-younger man idea came out of the closet. It was always socially acceptable for an older man to date or marry a younger girl but not an older woman and a younger guy, until probably 12 years ago. That?s when a lot of Hollywood movie stars were getting in their 40?s or 50?s, and they were dating younger guys, and so I think society said it?s okay. So I was just in the right place at the right time.
I get a lot of letters from young guys that say, ?Is there something wrong with me? I really prefer older women.? No, there?s nothing wrong with that, and I find it kind of interesting myself. I?ve never really asked anybody, ?Do you know why?? Everybody thinks it?s a mother complex, but not necessarily. Most younger men?s first sexual experience is with an older woman. Maybe he was 13 and she was 16?to him that?s an older woman?or it could have been that he was 16 and the woman was a buddy?s mother, or an aunt, or the mother?s girlfriend. But, you know, different strokes for different folks.
But we?re pretty much normal people, just very open-minded, very liberal. We?re not out to hurt anybody. Our theory is: if you don?t wanna look at it, don?t rent the movie. We?re just having fun, and there?s a big need for it. People are going to get sexual relief one way or another. You know, sex is normal and healthy; you just gotta know when and where to do it. That?s my theory.
